Professor Ge Shuzhi elected as IFAC Member

Recently, in recognition of his great contribution to adaptive neural network control for robotic application, the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC) has awarded Mr. Ge Shuzhi, a professor of UESTC, the title of IFAC membership, who was selected out of "Thousands of People".

IFAC was established in 1957, which was aimed to promote and control the science and technology in theory and application of every field. The title of IFAC was founded by the International Federation of Automatic Control in 2005, which mainly granted international scientists who made outstanding contributions in the field of IFAC. Up to now, it has awarded 106 scientists. There are 2 mainland experts selected in IFAC this year, the other one is Mr. Dai Ruwei, who is the academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
