UESTC Students Participate In Culture Exchange Camp in Belgium

During the 2011 winter vacation, 20 students from School of Automation, School of Microelectronics and Solid-State Electronics, School of Optoelectronic Information, Ying-Cai Experimental School, School of Life Science and Technology and School of Foreign Languages went to Belgium for a Group T Culture Exchange Camp.

The exchange delegation received warm welcome to Group T International University College, Leuven. Vice president Patrick De Ryck introduced the history, education pattern and the innovative spirit of the university.

During the next few days, delegates of UESTC attended seminars and some courses by the Mechanics, Bioelectronics and Electronic Engineering Departments. Group T also showed the delegation its extraordinary solar-powered motorcade, including its conceptual design, parts processing etc.

Besides courses, UESTC students also visited the Leuven Technology Hall, the Interuniversity Microelectronics Centre (IMEC) and the Université Paris in France.
