UESTC Academic Journal Officially Accepted by EI Compendex

Photonic Sensors, the first photon sensing academic journal in the world, co-sponsored by UESTC and a well-known Germany press named Springer, has been officially accepted as source magazine by EI Compendex.

Photonic Sensorsis a seasonal English academic journal, edited by Prof. Rao Yunjiang from School of Communication and Information Technology, UESTC. Since its foundation in March, 2011, it has presented in the form of both website and printing. It has been accepted as the fixed resource by retrieval systems including EI Compendex (starts to collect all the papers of Photonic Sensors since March, 2012), Scopus, etc., having laid favorable condition for further applying for acceptance by SCI.

Aiming to report the latest initialtive progress and achievements in the field of photo sensing, which covers optical fiber sensor, planar waveguide sensor, biological photonic sensors and related instrumentation, sensor multiplexing and networking technology, photonic sensor related materials and devices, Photonic Sensors has published 9 volumes, 92 papers, downloaded 22534 times in total. The editing committee consists of over 30 international renowned experts from 15 countries and regions, including 11 fellows of OSA, IEEE and SPIE, and 9 editorial members of world-known academic journals.
