UESTC excelled in National Biomedical Electronics Innovation Design Contest

On August 30th, the first National Biomedical Electronics Innovation Design Contest (NBEIDC) ended in Southeast University. Two teams of our university, guided by teacher Liu Tiejun from School of Life Science and Technology, won the first and second prize respectively.

By virtue of novel ideas and substantial work, our teams were unanimously acknowledged by the judges as well as Douglas Phillips, the manager of TI Global Core University Plans. Our entries “low-power cardio kickboxing” got the first prize, and “intelligent input system based on EOG” got the second prize.

This contest was held by National Steering Committee of Biomedical Engineering, Ministry of Education, attracting 340 teams from more than 140 universities, including Nanjing University, Zhejiang University, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, etc. to join the competition. With our school’s strong support, School of Life Science and Technology prepared carefully since April and finally stood out from the contest.
