On August 28th, the delegation visited UESTC’s student exchange partner—CNU (Christopher Newport University) and AU (American University) as well. As the fastest growing public university in the USA, CNU not only possesses educational qualifications in the topping level around the world, many excellent advanced specialties like marine biology, arts, management, etc., but also in recent years, regards “international cooperation” as an important development strategy. UESTC-CNU Summer Camp had been successively held three times, resulting in high student satisfaction. Bidirectional one-semester student exchange program has been successfully launched in 2015.

Relying on the advantage of locating in Washington DC, AU blends factors and content like government institution, public affairs, business management, and so forth in teaching and research. The first UESTC-AU Summer Camp taking leadership-training as the subject was successfully held this summer. 33 UESTC students accomplished the three-week study of course and culture, and the visit to some companies and institutions. Bidirectional student exchange program will be carried out next year.
