UESTC’s Engineering Science Ranks Top 100 in the ESI for the First Time

The latest data updated on November 9, 2017 by ESI (Essential Science Indicators) showed that UESTC’s Engineering Science were listed the top 100 in ESI global discipline ranking for the first time.


According to the data that covers a period from January 1, 2007 to August 31, 2017 there were 1319 institutions selected into ESI top 1% in the discipline of engineering science, out of which UESTC ranked the ninety-ninth.

It was reported that 15 higher education institutions from mainland China were listed among ESI top 100 in engineering science including Tsinghua University, Harbin Institute of Technology,Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Zhejiang University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Southeast University, Dalian University of Technology, TianjinUniversity, Beihang University, Tongji University, University of Science and Technology of China, South China University of Technology, Beijing University, University of Electronic Science and Technology.
