Vice-secretary Wang Yafei attended Cross-strait Technology University's forum

On august 2nd, Vice-secretary Wang Yafei was invited to Taiwan to attend 2010 Cross-strait Technologies Universities Forum.

This forum was held by Taiwan China Mainland Cross-strait Higher & Vocational Education Exchange Association and Taiwan Technology University. Leaders of more than ten universities of mainland and Taiwan universities delegates attended the forum. Wang Yafei had deep and wide exchange with the delegates of Cross-strait Higher and Vocational Education Exchange Cooperation Strategy as well as Cross-strait universities and vocational & technological College Teaching, in addition to that Research and Exchange Cooperation System, Production and Studying Cooperation and Creativity Innovation Business Strategy among Cross-strait universities and vocational & technological College,  Production and Studying Cooperation of Cross-strait universities and vocational and technology College and Business Development Strategy of Teachers and Students.

During the forum, Vice-secretary Wang Yafei visited Taiwan Technology University, Taiwan Technology University Intelligent Robot Centre, RFID laboratory, and exchanged opinions with President Chen Shunxi of Taiwan Technology University about further expanding cooperation and exchange between the two universities. He also visited the postgraduates of UESTC who were studying in Taiwan Tsing Hua University, Jiaotong University, and Yuan Ze University to get insight into their living and studying conditions in Taiwan and encouraged the students to study hard, make many friends there to have successful exchange study.

Before returning to UESTC, Vice-secretary Wang Yafei visited Mediatek Co.Ltd headquarters located in Taiwan Hsinchu Technology and Science Park. The general manager Ye Qingzhang of Mediatek Software (Shenzhen) Company had a communication with Wang Yafei about further enhancing cooperation and exchange.
