Biography Yong Zhang, Professor, Senior member of IEEE. He received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Chengdu, China in 1999, 2001, and 2004, respectively. He was invited as a visiting scholar of Illinois Institute of Technology, USA, in 2009-2010. He has published more than 70 journal and conference papers. He has applied 6 patents and one of them got the authorization. His current research interests include the design and application of passive and active components at microwave and millimeter wave frequencies, Solid state Terahertz technology, etc.
