Biography: Dr. Duanbing Chen received his Ph.D. degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in 2007 and his M. Sc degree from SouthWest Petroleum University (SWPU) in 1997. He joined UESTC as a teacher in 2007 and was promoted to associate professor in 2009. He has published more than sixty papers and two monographs. As project leader or main  participants, he participated several national level, province level and other level research projects. As a visiting scholar, he visited  interdisciplinary physics Lab,  University of Fribourg, Switzerland, in 2010, 2011 and 2013.
