Biography: He received BS degree in Opto-electronic technology, MS degree and PhD degree in Communication and electronic system from Univ. of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in 1989, 1991 and 1998 respectively.
He joined UESTC in December 1991. Also, he studied Advanced Digital Training Courses Organised by the Micro-Electronics Training Center of IMEC (MTC) in collaboration with the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (K.U.Leuven) Belgium  from June to August 2006. He saved as visiting scholar in Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, U.S.A. from 2008 to 2009.
