Biography: Dr. Cong Lu is currently a professor in the School of Mechatronics Engineering, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. After he obtained Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering at National University of Singapore, he worked as a Research Fellow in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of National University of Singapore from 2006 to 2007. And before that, he worked as a Research Engineer in the Chinese Academy of Engineering Physics from 1993 to 1998, and from 2001 to 2002, respectively. Dr. Lu has published many research papers in the reputable international journals, such as ASME Journal of Computing and Information Science in Engineering, IMechE Journal of Engineering Manufacture, International Journal of Production Research, International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, etc.
