In his speech, Yao Dezhong said that the BaCI Conference, co-sponsored by four international academic societies, was a spectacular gathering focusing on research methods and applications in the field of EEG, and the largest seminar in the field of EEG.Since 2013, the conference has successfully held three sessions in Europe. He thanked all participants for coming all the way to Chengdu this year to attend this conference. The conference has its rich content. In addition to the completed training courses, there were 5 thematic reports, 12 seminars, 69 research posters and many other activities. He hoped to further strengthen exchanges with co-workers in this field in the future, and continuously upgrade the influence of UESTC in this field.

After the awarding ceremony, Professor Pedro presented the opening report on advances in the estimation of EEG/MEG source connectivity, which described in detail the research progress of China-Cuba Neuroscience and Technology Conversion Frontier Research Joint Laboratory Team in estimating EEG/EMG connections.

This conference focused on new brain imaging technologies and their applications in psychological recognition and major brain diseases, and provided the members from the above-mentioned international societies, science researchers in brain science related fields such as brain imaging information technology, and cognitive psychology, clinicians, and entrepreneurs, and other areas of the brain science related fields with an international academic exchange and cooperation platform. The conference invited world-renowned experts from the above fields to give reports, and also held symposiums, poster exhibitions and training courses, which enabled participants from different regions and categories to communicate with each other, expand research ideas and promote the development of brain science, clinical neuroscience and engineering technology.
